I have a disability that requires use of special software, special hardware, a second monitor, or other tools. What can I do to get a security exception accommodation for the proctoring process?
We recommend that you request an accessibility accommodation at least a week before the scheduled exam. Accommodations are granted by the partner institution, not by edX. Since timing is important, we suggest contacting the course instructor first, by whatever method they have documented in the course.
You can also send your accommodation request to accessibility@edx.org and we will forward it to the course team for review. Requests through accessibility@edx.org may introduce a small additional delay.
