What does a program certificate look like?

Below is an example image of a program certificate.

An example XSeries Certificate in Anatomy from MichiganX for Sam P LeStudent. The program certificate will show the type of certificate (XSeries, MicroMasters, MicroBachelors, Professional Certificate) in the top left. Below, the program certificate will read, 'This is to certify that [Name] has successfully completed all courses and received passing grades for a(n) [Type] Program certificate in [Title] a program offered by [Partner] in collaboration with edX.' At the bottom, the edX logo is displayed along with the month and year the credential was awarded and a valid certificate ID which is not a link. On the top right, the Partner logo is displayed and the signatures of the program team.

Program certificates include the following information:

  • The full name you entered for your edX account.
  • The name of the program.
  • The edX partner institution that offered the program.
  • The names and signatures of one or more members of the program team.
  • The month and year that the certificate was issued.
  • A certificate ID (this is not a link)
